Employment Listings: CONCRETE FINISHER/ FORMSETTER

General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

-Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels and other equipment.

-Bolt, nail, align and block under forms.

-Work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.

-Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.

-Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.

-Work within defined standards of accuracy.

-Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Ability to use arms and hand to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.

-Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

-Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.

-Ability to work overtime, as required.

-Experience of 2 years minimum

-Willingness to learn multiple task of the concrete operation.

-Ability to abide by strict but necessary safety rules and policies.

A Concrete Form Setter or Finisher will be responsible for forming, placing, finishing concrete and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.
